My Story
Bill began his career in Louisville, KY as a business development consultant. The year was 1979. In 1992 he founded EcoPal, Inc., a startup that became very successful as a multi-faceted Joint Venture whose business included the implementation and execution of general oil services and oil rig maintenance and restoration contracts for PEMEX (Petroleo de Mexico). As a pronounced importer/exporter throughout Central America, EcoPal also used its knowledge and position to focus on the sales and distribution of consumer electronics and agricultural products in the hemisphereBill sold out his interest in 2002 and soon started a boutique alternative energy company. That foray into the ecological side of energy production led Bill to an introduction into the possibilities that beneficial microbes could offer humanity. Now, we have Fertile Ground. Fertile Ground is a U.S. concern at the forefront of the world's Environmental Biotech Companies. Our product line revolutionizes agribusiness biotechnology, wastewater treatment, and bio-remediation enterprises, where we offer a wide range of microbial solutions and treatment programs. In agriculture, Fertile Ground collects soil samples to identify microbial biomarkers through DNA sequencing, which explains how the soil is functioning. With this data, we generate a complete microbial analysis, develop a customized interpretation of the microbiome and recommend a custom blend of nutrients and bacteria based on the biodiversity, vulnerability, and nutrition pathways specific to the crop and the soil. We are experts at Precision Agriculture.Bill is also the Director of Agriculture for Huffine Global Solutions and continues to own a commercial solar business. He is a graduate of Wabash College. He will work with KGTS on our management and oversight team.
