My Story
Rod is a Founding Principal and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Huffine Global Solutions, Inc., (HGS). He is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational activities of HGS and executes the company's strategic vision, oversees operations, and drives organizational performance. He manages and guides the company's overall strategy, growth, and operational efficiency. Rod frequently travels to meet with high-level members of countries, business partners and is actively involved in not only building resilient homes but resilient long-term partnerships.
Rod’s background in building and construction throughout the US and Internationally is extensive. As a proficient inventor, Rod focuses on creating resilient and efficient new construction, design and building modalities. Rod is also the CEO and Founder of Sol-Nest, which showcases his building methods in the company’s product designs. Formerly Rod was the Project manager for a housing project in Solwezi Zambia where the Hybrid I Post and Panel System (HIPPS) was first implemented. Knowing what it means to lose a home, Rod created a building method that builds homes to last multiple generations, outdoing typical traditional building methods. These homes can survive earthquakes, fire, floods and 250 mph winds. His goal is to build safe and secure homes globally so all families can live well now and into the future.
